Messages From The Virginia State Council

From The Grand Knight:
Anyone interested? We need 3 to represent us. , J.P.

From Daniel Doyle:
Worthies,
Please see below. This is the request from the State Deputy to support the National
March for Life. It is being sent out much earlier than I remember from previous years,
I suspect that they are trying to line things up as soon as possible. I would ask that
you spread the word and encourage your membership to consider enlisting to serve
as a Marshal for the March.
The National March for Life is the single largest human rights event in the world. Each
year hundreds of thousands of people participate in the March to show their support
for the right to life. As Knights, we should do so also. Support for life is a fundamental
duty for us. Even if you are not going to be a Marshal, you should be attending the
March as a participant. It’s our obligation. Let’s do it.
Thanks, Dan

From: The Virginia State Deputy
Worthy District Deputies and Grand Knights,
Plans for the March For Life 2022 are being finalized and our support is needed to make
it a success. The goal is for each of our Councils to enlist at least three volunteers to
help marshal the March. Having enough marshals is important to having a safe event.
For decades Virginia Knights have stepped up to provide first aid, clean up, marshalling,
and keeping marchers from engaging with counter protesters.

Once signed on, Thom Harrington and I will know you are coming.
The March For Life will take place on Friday, January 21, 2022. You will note that the
starting location will be as before, the National Mall at 12th Street (just off the
Smithsonian-National Mall Metro Station). The same earlier start time is to meet at
8:30 AM at the large recreation vehicle. I look forward to seeing you there!

Respectfully,
Mark Janda
