Events this month include Free Throw Contest on 7 March, the Emerald Ball on 13 March, and the annual Saint Patrick’s Day Parade on 14 March. The Sunday Breakfast for March is canceled due to it falling on the day after the parade. Breakfast will resume on the third Wednesday in April.

During this month there will be a fish fry or other meatless dinner served each Friday in the lounge.
The next Sunday Breakfast will be held on February 15th, the day after Valentine’s Day.
As a reminder KOVAR weekend is just around the corner, it will be held 16 – 19 April.

October 7 – There will be a First Degree ceremony at the council meeting.
October 16 – the Five families will host a Cancer On The Run presentation in the council hall all members and guests are encouraged to attend.
Mr. Robert Ralph, a cancer survivor will be the keynote speaker on his Proton Beam Therapy experience at Loma Linda, California. Robert will be assisted by Ronald Hartell and Frank Lawrence on the importance of early detection and cancer knowledge.
In addition, Dr. Cynthia Keppel of Hampton University will explain the benefits of Proton Therapy treatment and the development of the Hampton University Proton Therapy Institute which when opened in 2010 will be the world’s largest free-standing proton therapy facility.
